Our client is a major projection company for power plants.  In order to support its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), we are looking for a senior and experienced Head of planning and controlling, based in Prague, Czech Republic. The company is part of a large, stable and recognized conglomerate.

·         Mid and long term financial planning

·         Costs and Revenues planning

·         Financial controlling analysis

·         Coordinating the outsourced services - accounting

·         Investment project controlling

·         Coordinating the ongoing SAP implementation

·         Financial reporting for the Board of Directors

·         Managing the team of eight controllers

·         Setting up and maintaining processes in the controlling department

·         Responsibility for the team performance

·         On project basis checking the contractual terms with clients and suppliers in order to coordinate the cashflow and payment schedules

·         Reporting to CFO

The ideal candidate will be a finance professional with an experience from similar position.

Experience from the construction or project based environment is a great plus but not a must. The ideal candidate will be IT literate with strong knowledge of SAP or other similar IS and MS Excel.

Business english, managerial skills and leadership experience or potential is required. Strongly developed analytical skills and resistance to long term stress exposure. Ability to see things in a broader context. Fluent Czech or Slovak is a must.
